Keepin Up with Camilla ďERRICO

We're so happy to announce that we've launched a brand new website! Please visit TanpopoandKuro.com to see all the cool new features we have set up to celebrate the Tanpopo series, like previews, desktop wallpapers, a special blog, and even a place to ask Kuro questions!

If you're not familiar with the series, Tanpopo is set to Goethe's "Faust," and in the second and third volume bring in "Rime of the Ancient Mariner" and "Strange Stories from a Chinese Studio," respectively. Tanpopo, the main character, is a young girl with a mysterious machine attached to her head. She is very intelligent, but insecure, and yearns to feel true emotion. Kuro, the devilish character that hears Tanpopo's plea to feel emotion, offers to show her the feeling of love and happiness in exchange for her soul.

There are some big plans for the series this year, so tell your friends and look for more news soon!

As a special treat, we're hosting a contest with Tomopop featuring a grand prize of the original Tanpopo piece that we teased earlier this week. Second place will win a Giant Buddha Kuro plush, third place will win a set of Tanpopo Vol. 1, 2, & 3 signed by Camilla d'Errico, and ten runners-up will be sent Tanpopo Vol. 1!

All you have to do to enter is ask Kuro a question on the new site, and then post the question to the page on Tomopop where the contest is being hosted.

Thanks for all of your support.

Sincerely,

Camilla d'Errico
