Reincarnation. A second life. A new destiny. These ideas are brought to the forefront in George Rahme’s solo show Fire over Water, which opens September 15 and runs through October 20 at Public Pool art space in Hamtramck. The twist is that these ideas apply to cultural remnants discarded by all of us—but brought to life again in Rahme’s brilliant collages.
