We're pleased to announce that now Christmas has been and gone
and with the new year just around the corner,
it is time to prepare for another exciting Under the Bed Sale at Cupola.
Whether it's your first time or you're an old hand at it have a good rummage and
see what lovely things you can uncover for our take on the January sales.
For those who don't know, this is a non-selected ‘Sale’ rather than a Show.
We ask artists to deliver original art that is of an older nature,
it may be artwork that is currently stored under the bed,
in a drawer or cupboard or in the corner of a studio (or at their mums).
In other words work that hasn’t seen the light of day for quite a while.
Customers looking for a bargain at an average price of £50 or less
you will find it in this sale, with a maximum price of £300.
The work comes in all shapes and sizes, mounted or not mounted,
framed or unframed and slight seconds.
There will be a cross section of work that represents all art mediums
i.e. Painting, Printmaking, Ceramics, Glass Work, Photography, Drawing, Sculpture and Jewellery.
This spectacular sale is a perfect opportunity to bag a bargain (or 2, or 3 or ....)
Many of our customers leave with things they never even knew they needed!
There is work from some of our regular artists and some from new ones,
so come down and have a look to see if your favourite artist has
left you a little treat in our wonderland of work!
