We went to the preview at Derby's old rope Mill last night.
Not knowing what to expect we were pleasantly surprised with ambiance of the place, a band greeted us at the door, a glass of wine and some nibbles fortified us for the meandering assault on the mills interior.There are numerous workshops/galleries to explore, stuff ranging from stained glass, textiles through to charcoals, oils, acrylics, and graffs.
A must see to anyone that thought that the Derby scene was dead!
Runs just this weekend though- so get there be ready to meet some nice peeps and bring some reddies for a bargain!!
