Hi all, time for an update - details on a show and a chance to win some original artwork.
I'm really excited to be returning to C.A.V.E Gallery in Venice CA, (http://www.cavegallery.net/) this time for a show alongside Christopher Cuseo and John Park, opening this Saturday 10th March and showing through 7th April.
I'll be showing 6 new paintings and really wanted to produce a cohesive body of work for the show. After a period of playing with some ideas in my Moleskine I settled on a loose theme of "Threads" and I'm really pleased with how they've come together.
I've also pushed my comfort zone on the 3 pieces "Anticipation," "Faith," and "Eternity" by breaking away from my usual format and size. The results are much larger pieces that hopefully evoke an added sense of mood, emotion and drama.
I'll be there for the opening so hope to see some of you there!
To coincide with the show and the launch of my fan page on Facebook I'm also running a giveaway to win a piece of original artwork. As my sketchbook was such an important part of the process, I'll be giving away one of the original graphite studies done for "Faith"
