DOCUMENTARY: My name is Alan and I paint pictures!
Art is an expression and in some ways a therapy, a form of release.
An example of this is Alan"Streets"Russell-Cowan.... who is diagnosed as having paranoid schizophrenia.
A Londoner now based in New York, Alan can often be found brushing his canvas on the streets of that fair and sometime fierce city.
This documentary gives various views of Alan, some personal- Mom, Dad and friends, some professional- gallery owners, artists and collectors, both are in depth and ethical.
An overall inspirational and poignant film with some great art, chat, footage, animation and music... a must see for ya all!
☼Big up goes out to Lauren Thompson at Raw Media for the pics and makin life easy.☋
Yep believe it or not H H is playing with a brush and quick drying oils to produce some interesting stuff.
Ripping images out of mags like Hello, OK! and the Daily Mail, he stores them in a folder and comes back to them when the inspiration takes hold.
His wife is a good painter so getting the basics wasn't a problem, he says he uses art as occupational therapy, and recommends it to workaholics everywhere!!
