2nd-4th September 2012
The National Hall - London Olympia
Yesterday we wrapped up day 2 at The Ledge in London, Olympia with the mini ramp finals. Taking the top three spots are riders Tom Carr from Third Foot in 3rd, sponsored by Vans and Superdead in 2nd place is Chris Oliver and proudly accepting first place is Vans rider Denis Lynn. Showing no mercy, each rider demonstrated their talent and gave spectators an epic performance. Kids of all ages were inspired and exhibitors showed their support when gathered around the ramp cheering. Lynn proved he was worthy of the £1500 prize by executing tricks with ease and style.
Throughout the day Paul's Chop Shop set up a studio offering free hair cuts. For those feeling brave, an on stand tattoo artist was on hand for anyone spontaneously looking to get inked. It is this exceptional variety of entertainment and activities that have made The Ledge unlike any other trade show. Now with a street wear section, brands such as WESC, King Apparel and Dickies perfectly complimented the skate hardware and action sports stands.
Now entering the last day, the skate ramp is all ready creating buzz, as anticipating viewers wait eagerly for sponsored skaters to light it up in todays ramp jam.
