All Female Skate Gathering
Hello Friends!
Greetings from Few and Far! In conjunction with celebrating our two-year anniversary, we are excited to be presenting our Second Annual All Female Skate Gathering on Saturday, June 1st, 2013 at Power Inn Skate Park in Sacramento, CA. Open to all ages and abilities, the inaugural event brought an amazing turnout of ladies throughout the West Coast and beyond, showcasing their skills in skateboarding and live art in a non-competitive environment. Building upon the successes of the first gathering, we expect our next one to be even better, as we are currently seeking sponsors to help us achieve that goal.
Established in June 2011, Few and Far is a movement centered around bringing together talented women involved in graffiti, skateboarding, and street art; we consist of a team of openly minded, highly creative, cutting edge, dedicated, everyday females. Through various public and high profile venues, Few and Far strives to connect women by creating platforms for social and artistic exchange. In highlighting our commitment to our craft, we seek to expand this movement and our involvement in local and global communities alike, all the while building a network of strong friendships and connections.
Like our previous gathering, the event will feature a skate jam session, live art demonstrations, and a raffle. We will also be introducing the addition of a graffiti and street art workshop for kids and live music entertainment performed by local Sacramento and Bay Area bands.
We are asking for product and/or monetary donations so that we can make swag bags for the participants and volunteers, supplies for the artists and kids workshop, prizes for the raffle, and production of event t-shirts possible. Any amount of generosity would be greatly appreciated.
As a participating sponsor, your business name and logo will be featured on all promotional materials, including event fliers and posters, and your support will be announced during the event. Much like our first gathering, we also anticipate extensive promotion and coverage of the event through various popular action sports and art culture media outlets, including those of fellow sponsors.
